True Victory

True Victory

The Fellowship Of Christian Athletes exists to
serve athletes and coaches, for the purpose of sharing true victory: the gospel
of Jesus Christ.

The Gospel is the “GOOD NEWS” of Jesus Christ. Because of
His death, burial, and resurrection we can be forgiven our sins and escape the
wrath and penalty that come with them. The gospel is called the good news because
if you understand it, it’s the best thing you could ever hear in a life time.
God, who is pure and Holy separate from sin in all His ways, requires us to be
righteous and Holy as He is.(Matthew 5:48) Because we are people of sin and
unrighteousness, we are subject to the ultimate judgment of God: eternal death
and separation from God. The gospel allows us to find, know, and love God. The
gospel reveals to us, the righteousness that God requires of us, that in our
own efforts we could never earn. Romans 1:17

The following verses from the bible are essential to knowing
this good news, of true victory.

nothing that You can do to save yourself by doing good things. –
    Romans 3:20,  Titus 3:5
