Everyone at an athletic competition knows the moment it happens. The competitors can sense it; the coaches can only watch it and the fans are in awe of it. It’s the instant when an athlete takes his or her game to a higher level during the course of a contest. Something happens that catapults the athlete into a stage of competitive performance where every skill is performed with perfection and every move is executed flawlessly. The competitor’s confidence rises with every second that goes by…and he or she literally becomes unstoppable. The athlete is playing “In the Zone.”

God desires each one of us to live our lives “In the Zone” through an unstoppable faith. He calls us to a higher level of living that is much greater than simply living for ourselves. What would your team or sport look like if you lived your life “In the Zone” for the Lord? How would things change on your campus if you lived out an unstoppable faith in Jesus Christ? Is this level of spiritual influence possible? Absolutely! It’s time to live “In the Zone” for Jesus Christ!

It seems like forever away, but if you’d like for FCA to pay your entry fee we need your completed registration form before January 29th. We will pay your fee if you give us at least 15 names and addresses of folks that we can mail a letter to explaining that you are running/walking 13.1 miles to raise funds to send kids to FCA summer camp. What they contribute is up to them. Call us (245-1514) or e-mail (fcalou@bellsouth.net) and we will get you the complete information. Might as well run with a purpose!

Join us November 7th for our “Sharing the Victory” dinner with special guest Clark Kellogg. The event, hosted by the Louisville area Fellowship of Christian Athletes, will be held at the Ramada Inn Plaza on Hurstbourne and will begin promptly at 6:30 pm. Enjoy great food from KFC, Baskin Robbins and Coca-Cola while being served by over 100 area middle school, high school and college athletes as well as coaches involved in our local FCA ministry. Reservations are required, and all proceeds from the dinner will help support FCA Louisville “Share the Victory” with athletes and coaches in over 80 greater Louisville area schools.
